Fall is here and we have new hats and scarves in the latest colors. Come in and try some on today.

We are proud to announce the opening of Survivor Gals Irving in December. We will be providing the same products and services of our other two locations for the women in the Mid Cities area. We are scheduled to open on Dec. 5, but please check our website for updates.

The extremely busy month of October is over and the fall air has moved in. We had such a great time with all the Gals last month particpating in so many wonderful events. Some of the highlites from October were the Fashion Show Celebrating Survivors where Kathy was looking fantastic, the many ponytails we accepted for Locks of Love at the Baylor Irving PJ Party, “Spirit Girls Night Out” at the Medical Center of Plano, Ovarian Relay for Life in Grapevine and the American Cancer Society “Paint the Town Pink” in Fort Worth just to name a few.

We have a couple of great new products we are so excited about. We have Cleavage Coolers that help during hot flashes and Lace Front Wigs that look so natural and beautiful. Come see for yourself!

Also, remember that the end of the year is fast approaching, so if you need new bras or a prosthesis, please make your appointment now, so you can get them filed before new deductibles have to be met.

We will be participating in the Race for the Cure in Plano this next weekend June 12. If you see us please stop and say hi.

We will be partipating in the Plano Relay for Life on April 30,2010 starting at 7:00pm. We will be collecting ponytails for the Pink Heart Funds “pinkheartfunds.com”. If you are interested in donating your ponytail please come and see us. It is for a great cause. Your ponytail must be at least 6″ long and your hair will be made into a wig and donated to a child going through cancer – free of charge.

We are so excited to announce that we will are opening two new shops. One is in Amarillo and it is open and helping wonderful ladies in the Amarillo, Lubbock and surrounding areas. The other one is in Fort Worth, located in the Baylor All Saints hospital in the Joan Katz Breast Center. We will be moving in on April 12th and opening shortly thereafter. We look forward to seeing you at one of our new locations. Just drop in and have a cup of coffee with us.

Summer is here and so is the heat! Come in and check out our new selection of scarves. Our new line includes fun, fashionable fabrics with cute tying options. They are a great alternative to wigs, but they are so cute, they can be worn even if you don’t have hair loss.

We had such a great weekend. Saturday was the Race for the Cure in Plano, and we had so much fun participating! Our car was there – please let us know if you saw it. On Sunday, we attended the National Cancer Survivors Day luncheon hosted at the Presbytrian Hospital of Plano. We met some great people, and reunited with some old friends. It was a weekend to remember.

The gals from Survivor Gals are looking forward to the North Texas Race for the Cure in Plano on June 6th. We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you to all of the wonderful people who donated their hair to Locks of Love. You will make such a difference in someone’s life. We will continue to take donations at our salon, so if you or someone you know would like to make a donation, please come see us.
